**Summary: **
The shipping department is responsible for the movement of material inside the facility as well as the coordination of material outside, whether it is incoming from a supplier or outgoing to a customer. It works very closely with the manufacturing departments to ensure that parts are available when needed at every stage of production. It is an integral part of Cambridge’s fast-paced, dynamic environment.

**Job Functions: **
- Material handling – moving parts throughout the facility using pallet jacks, fork trucks, etc.
- Shipping – packing and organizing parts for shipments, loading trucks, completing required paperwork, ensuring proper documentation, etc.
- Receiving – unloading trucks, verifying proper documentation, etc.
- Shipping Back Up – packing and organizing parts for shipments, loading trucks, completing required paperwork ensuring proper documentation, etc.
- Inventory and reconciliation
**Skills:
**
- Basic Math skills
- Strong command of written and verbal English.
- Ability to follow work instructions verbally and through visual aids provided.
- Ability to communicate clearly and effectively with others.
- Strong work ethic and desire for personal and operations excellence.
- Demonstrates a high level of dependability in all aspects of the job.
- Ability to learn and properly apply new job-related information in a timely manner.
- Ability to move materials safely using pallet jacks.
- Performs jobs in a manner that minimizes hazards to self, others and the environment. Maintains a physical work environment that contributes to the well-being of others. Being aware of conditions or circumstances that affect one’s own safety or the safety of others.
**Required Experience: **
- High School/GED or equivalent
- 3 years’ experience in a fast-paced manufacturing or similar environment.
- Forklift experience
**Physical Demands: **
The ability to spend 8 hours on one’s feet bending, lifting, and moving frequently
Regularly remain in a stationary position at workstation.
Frequently lifts, moves and carries parts weighing up to 30lbs.
Must be able to Ascend/Descend stairs.
Must be able to Sit, Walk, Climb, Stoop, Kneel.
