Material Handler Duties and Responsibilities

Shipping and Receiving duties:
- Ensure the fulfillment of the established safety rules.
- Monitor customer orders in Odyssey and Web Portals
- Prepare product for vendor and intercompany shipments
- Stage loads using an industrial fork truck
- Accurately dock audit incoming and outgoing loads
- Create shipment paperwork
- Create shipment labels
- Schedule internal and external logistics
- Send ASN’s
- Unload anything off trucks and reload shipments

Warehouse:
- Ensure the fulfillment of the established safety rules
- Service production department with regard to supply and retrieval of dunnage as needed.
- Properly put product where designated
- Complete inventories as requested
- Communicate with other PCG plants for product and/or packaging needs
- Organize product according to standard staging practices
- Maintain cleanliness

Position Requirements
- High school diploma or GED equivalent.
- Comfortable working in a fast pace environment.
- Needs strong basic math skills, computer savvy, and good problem solving.
- Must have valid driver license.
- Must have good communication and people skills.
- Must be safety conscious.
