Summary:
The Receiving Clerk is responsible for receiving materials into the plant along with the movement of material inside the facility. It works very closely with the manufacturing departments to ensure that parts are available when needed at every stage of production.
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Understanding of Odyssey system or similar ERP applications
- Coordinate the creation and scheduling of shop orders to meet customer orders and minimum stocking requirements.
- Review accuracy and completion of product, material and component inventory cycle counts and physicals.
- Participate in improvement projects related to inventory storage planning, trucking optimization, or other plant needs.
- Understanding of product lifecycle flow from shop order creation throughout production entry to customer shipment.
- Must follow all safety rules and policies as set forth by osha guidelines and pace industries policies and procedures as outlined in the employee manual.
- Work with vendors for counts.
- Receive materials from outside vendors into the plant.
- Verify die set manhours and minutes are entered.
- Customer orders-update weekly.
- Order entry if necessary
- Review pack slip history/receiver inquiry for accuracy.
- Shop order report review-complete/move shop orders.
- Help with paperwork errors-work with the team.
- Schedule Advanced, metal, and component delivery.
Position Requirements:
- Familiarity with Microsoft office applications specifically Excel and Outlook.
- Demonstrate good communication and interpersonal skills to direct work team.
- Excellent written, electronic, and verbal communication skills.
- High school diploma or equivalent, Associate’s degree preferred.
- Must be able to perform simple math equations.
- Must be quality conscious and willing to support pace philosophies.
