Job Details
Pace Life Sciences is seeking a laboratory supervisor to administer and oversee our lab-based team.
Key Responsibilities:
- Supervise and manage staff including hiring, training, evaluating performance, providing compensation recommendations, and performance management.
- Oversee and supervise broad areas of operations including testing, scheduling, services, communication, and general coordination of the lab, services, and field.
- Provide research, feedback, and decisions to resolve management and employee questions and requirements; assist with receiving customer feedback and coordinating resources and responses as required.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in chemistry, biology, or a closely related field; AND five (5) years of lab, services, field or testing experience, including experience with complex programs or operations; OR an equivalent combination of education, training, and experience.
- 2 years of experience in a leadership role.
- Proficiency in a variety of PC applications and databases including MS Office Suite, SharePoint, and Salesforce.
- Excellent oral and written communication skills.
- Strong interpersonal, team working, and leadership skills.
- Demonstrated ability to problem solve.
- Flexibility to adjust quickly and effectively to frequent change and altered priorities.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities.
- Strong learning agility.
