Commercial Property Assessed Clean Energy (C-PACE) is a tool used by property owners and developers to finance energy efficiency, renewable energy, and resiliency measures incurred to improve commercial property.

We are adding a CRE Construction Draw Specialist to our team. This position is expected to be located in our Minneapolis office. We are a small company, so you will immediately have an impact on the growth of our team. You will learn from seasoned commercial real estate finance veterans, while working in a growing field.
Your day-to-day responsibilities will vary, but primarily will be focused on construction draw requests, insurance tracking, and other C-PACE loan/asset management tasks.

Primary Responsibilities
- Critically reviewing and processing commercial construction loan draw requests and balancing escrow accounts
- Reviewing lien waivers for appropriateness and accuracy, and requesting further information when necessary
- Ensuring that we are funding appropriately, according to the applicable PACE statute
- Ensuring post-closing files are complete with updates on construction (i.e. progress photos, property financials, etc.)
- Following up on trailing documents from loan closings (i.e. certificates of occupancy)
- At close, reviewing and inputting loan information into servicing systems and files
- Reviewing and filing insurance cancellations and following up with clients to ensure proper insurance is maintained
- Troubleshooting questions from PACE Program Administrators regarding existing assets (such as post-closing commissioning confirmation)
- Assistance with monitoring of existing portfolio and ensuring payments remitted on time and, where applicable, assisting with early payoffs
- Reviewing applicable states’ property tax bills to ensure borrowers paid PACE special assessments
- Other tasks as needed
Skill set must include the following:
- At least 1 year of experience with commercial construction draws/lien waivers
- Extremely detail-oriented with demonstrated ability to follow through on tasks
- Curious, with a problem-solving attitude (identify issues, but also suggest solutions)
- Ability to manage several projects through the use of checklists and timelines. Research skills
- Moderate Excel skills
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while delivering accurate and quality work-product

Salary : $60,000 - $80,000
