What are the responsibilities and job description for the Speech Language Pathologist - LOW case load position at PACE - Pacific Autism Center for Education?
Join our caring team in Sunnyvale or Santa Clara! The Speech Language Pathologist (SLP) is primarily responsible for providing specialized services to students in the PACE school who have Individualized Education Plan (IEP) requirements for SLP support. Only 12-16 cases per Therapist! Job duties include:
Direct Service – Provide one-on-one instruction as well as small group services which may involve elements of varying communication methods for verbal and non-verbal students.Assessments – Conduct routine and specialized assessments of students on the case load to ensure that they are receiving the appropriate level of support and that their advancement is being tracked accordingly.
IEP - Provide timely quarterly report card information and annual IEP documentation which includes triennial assessments where necessary. This includes the ongoing tracking of progress on goals and the presentation of the IEP information at the official meeting.
Assessments – Conduct routine and specialized assessments of students on the case load to ensure that they are receiving the appropriate level of support and that their advancement is being tracked accordingly. Please apply with resume
