What are the responsibilities and job description for the Owner/Operator - Courier Delivery Driver position at Pace Runners Inc?
As a contracted Courier Delivery Driver in Pace's Preferred Carrier Network, you will deliver freight to our customers' stores in Birmingham and Gadsden area, , and surrounding areas. This opportunity requires a small sedan/SUV/Truck to deliver automobile parts and merchandise to an automotive retailer. Full Time and Part Time options are available. Drivers are assigned routes up to 6 days per week between the hours of 8:30 am and 6:30 pm. An average route is between 90 to 150 miles round-trip. This opportunity is ideal for Independent Contractors (IC's) and Master IC's as well as Freight Agents with small fleets.
Key Responsibilities for Courier Drivers:
- Load auto parts/merchandise and deliver to designated stores.
- Use Pace delivery app to track and document all deliveries.
- Maintain required insurance.
- Excellent communication skills surrounding issues, delays, etc.
- Exceed customer delivery requirements and specifications.
- Represent Pace in a professional and courteous manner.
- Be presentable and provide excellent customer service to customers.
