What are the responsibilities and job description for the Owner/Operator - Delivery Driver - Box Truck position at Pace Runners Inc?
Pace is seeking Owner/Operators with 24'-26' box trucks for dedicated routes in our Montgomery, AL market!
As a Box Truck Delivery Partner with Pace, you will make auto parts deliveries to our customers on a multi-stop route in and around Montgomery, AL, markets. Routes are approximately 200- 450 miles round trip and run Monday through Friday from 10pm to 7am. You must have a 26' Box Truck with Lift Gate. Most deliveries include loading/unloading palletized freight using a pallet jack and some deliveries will involve scanning in the parts.
Key Responsibilities for Owner/Operator Box Truck Drivers:
- Pick up auto parts and deliver to designated stores.
- Assist in sort and seg of inbound freight - requires accurate OS&D reporting to be conducted
- Break down palletized freight at point of delivery as needed.
- Operate a pallet jack to load/unload freight.
- Provide backup plan for route coverage
- Use Pace delivery app to track and document all deliveries.
- Exceed customer delivery requirements and specifications.
- Represent Pace in a professional and courteous manner.
- Be presentable and provide excellent customer service to customers.

What does it take to Partner with Pace?:
- Must meet MVR, background, and drug screening requirements.
- Drivers must be 21 or older.
- Maintain required insurance amounts $1million CGL, $1million auto liability, $100,000 motor cargo
- Have your own working vehicle.
- Have active DOT/MC authority with the FMCSA
