What are the responsibilities and job description for the Owner/Operator - Delivery Driver - Box Truck position at Pace Runners Inc?
Pace has many new unique lanes available. Lanes are dock to dock deliveries to our customers on a multi-stop route in and around the Greater Dallas area. Routes generally start around 1-3 am. and complete at or around 7 am. Unique Opportunity to possibly dual utilize your truck post final 7am delivery. These lanes will run 6 days a week Monday – Saturday.
Key Responsibilities for Box Truck Drivers:
- Routes are static i.e. drivers will run same routes with same stops each day.
- Pick up freight and deliver to designated stops.
- Pallet drops
- Operate a pallet jack to load/unload freight.
- Use Pace delivery app to track and document all deliveries.
- Maintain required insurance.
- Exceed customer delivery requirements and specifications.
- Represent Pace in a professional and courteous manner.
- Be presentable and provide excellent customer service to customers.

What does it take to drive with Pace?
- Have your own working 24' - 26' Box Truck with Lift Gate.
- Meet insurance requirements.
- Must meet MVR, background, and drug screening requirements.
- Drivers must be 21 or older.
- Must have active operating authority with the FMCSA
