Pace is seeking an Owner/Operator Delivery Drivers with their own Cargo or Sprinter Van in our Birmingham AL market. Join Pace's carrier network and grow your business with consistent, dedicated routes!
As a contracted Courier Delivery Driver in Pace's Preferred Carrier Network, you will deliver small packages to our customers in Birmingham and surrounding areas. This opportunity requires a Cargo van or Sprinter Van to deliver Small Packages. Full Time and Part Time options are available. Drivers are assigned routes up to 6 days per week between the hours of 7:00 am and 7:00 pm. An average route is between 90 to 200 miles round-trip. This opportunity is ideal for Independent Contractors (IC's) and Master IC's as well as Freight Agents with small fleets.
Key Responsibilities for Courier Drivers:
- Load freight into your vehicle and deliver to designated stops.
- Use the delivery app to track and document all deliveries.
- Excellent communication skills surrounding issues, delays, etc.
- Exceed customer delivery requirements and specifications.
- Represent Pace in a professional and courteous manner.
- Be presentable and provide excellent customer service to customers.
