We are seeking enthusiastic and dedicated Event Staff to join our team for various events. As an integral part of our operations, you will play a key role in ensuring that events run smoothly and guests have a memorable experience. Duties
- Assist in the setup and breakdown of event spaces, ensuring all equipment and materials are in place.
- Provide exceptional guest services by greeting attendees, answering questions, and addressing any concerns.
- Manage cash handling processes for ticket sales, concessions, or merchandise as needed.
- Support food service operations, including serving food and beverages while maintaining cleanliness and organization.
- Engage in conflict management to resolve any issues that may arise during events.
- Collaborate with the events management team to ensure all aspects of the event are executed effectively.
- Monitor safety protocols and assist with crowd control to ensure a safe environment for all participants.
- Facilitate activities for children or families if applicable, ensuring a fun and engaging atmosphere.
Requirements
- Previous experience in customer service or guest services is preferred.
- Skills in conflict management to effectively handle challenging situations.
- Experience with cash handling processes is a plus.
- Familiarity with food service operations is beneficial.
- Background in events management or public speaking can enhance your candidacy.
- Experience working with children is an asset, particularly for family-oriented events.
- A positive attitude, strong communication skills, and the ability to work well under pressure are essential.
- Must be at least 18 years of age
- High school diploma
