Responsibilities
- Assist in the setup and breakdown of event spaces, including arranging furniture and equipment as needed.
- Provide excellent customer service to guests, addressing inquiries and resolving any issues that may arise during events.
- Support food service operations by serving food and beverages, ensuring cleanliness and organization at all times.
- Monitor event activities to ensure safety protocols are followed, particularly in environments such as resorts or theaters.
- Engage with guests through public speaking when necessary, providing information about the event schedule or activities.
- Collaborate with team members to ensure all aspects of the event run smoothly and efficiently.
- Handle conflict management situations professionally to maintain a positive experience for all participants.
Requirements
- Previous experience in events management or hospitality is preferred.
- Strong customer service skills with a focus on guest satisfaction.
- Ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment while also being self-motivated.
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written; public speaking experience is a plus.
- Familiarity with food service operations is beneficial.
- Experience in conflict management to handle any potential issues that may arise during events.
- A background in lifeguarding or safety protocols is advantageous for events held at resorts or aquatic venues.
- Flexibility to work various shifts, including evenings and weekends as required by event schedules.
- Must be at least 18 years of age
- High school diploma
