Duties
- Assist in the setup and breakdown of event spaces, ensuring all areas are prepared for guest arrival.
- Provide exceptional guest services by welcoming attendees and addressing their needs throughout the event.
- Manage conflict resolution effectively to maintain a positive atmosphere during events.
- Support event management staff with logistical tasks, including coordinating schedules and communicating with vendors.
- Handle cash transactions accurately when required, ensuring proper cash handling procedures are followed.
- Engage with guests through public speaking when necessary, providing information about the event or venue.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of event spaces before, during, and after events.
- Work collaboratively with team members to ensure all aspects of the event run smoothly.
Qualifications
- Previous experience in customer service or hospitality is preferred, particularly in events management or resort settings.
- Must be at least 18 years of age
- High school diploma
- Strong conflict management skills to handle guest inquiries and issues professionally.
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written; public speaking experience is a plus.
- Ability to work effectively as part of a team while also demonstrating initiative when needed.
- Experience in cash handling is beneficial for roles involving financial transactions.
