What You’ll be Doing…

• Lead and manage HR projects such as job analysis, performance management, and compensation design.
• Collaborate with leadership to develop strategies that support organizational goals and employee engagement.
• Research workforce trends, analyze data, and prepare reports to guide decision-making.
• Ensure compliance with employment laws and maintain accurate HR documentation.
• Assist in creating and implementing training and development programs.
• Provide HR consultation and support to Museum leaders, fostering a positive workplace culture.

Here’s what your work history needs to show as evidence that you’re the right candidate…

• 8 years of HR experience, including job description creation and compensation analysis
• Demonstrated proficiency in HRIS systems, analytics, and reporting tools.
• Expertise in employment laws, benefits administration, and performance management.
• Advanced project management and analytical skills; ability to manage multiple tasks and meet competing deadlines.
• Ability to handle sensitive matters with confidentiality and diplomacy.

Here’s the important details:

• Location: South Seattle. Onsite attendance required for key responsibilities. Local travel may be required.
• Schedule: Monday to Friday 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM
• Pay Rate: $34-$41 per hour
• Compliance: You must be able to pass a criminal background check.
• Education Requirements: Bachelor’s degree in HR or related field (or equivalent experience), PHR, SPHR, SHRM-CP, or SHRM-SCP certification (preferred but not mandatory).
