What are the responsibilities and job description for the Leave of Absence Specialist position at Pace Staffing Network?
We’re seeking a Leave of Absence Specialist to join a team supporting 25,000 employees! In this role, you'll collaborate with a team of three, managing leave cases from start to finish. This includes processing requests, sending payroll instructions, and ensuring seamless communication with employees and managers.

What You’ll be Doing…
· Administer and process leave requests (FMLA, disability, WFLA, Military, Unpaid Medical, Intermittent, etc.)
· Act as a liaison with the leave management vendor to ensure timely paperwork processing
· Work closely with managers to ensure accurate timecard coding for employees on leave
· Provide Tier 2 support for escalated leave issues
· Research and analyze existing leave issues to drive continuous process improvement
· Maintain compliance with leave regulations and company policies
Here’s what your work history needs to show as evidence that you’re the right candidate…
· 3 years of experience in benefits, absence management, or FMLA systems
Exceptional attention to detail and strong written communication skills (99% of interactions are email/virtual)
· Ability to handle sensitive information with discretion
· Solid problem-solving and conflict management skills
Here’s the important details:
· Must reside in Washington State
· Assignment Type: Temp-to-Hire Audition
· Pay Rate: $36-$43 per hour
· Schedule: Monday to Friday 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM
· Compliance: You must be able to pass a criminal background check.
· Education Requirements: Bachelor’s degree preferred
