We’re seeking a sharp, collaborative Production Planning / Operations Analyst to step into a vital role on a 6-month contract supporting maternity leave—with up to 1-2 months of onboarding and training overlap before the leave begins. This is a great opportunity to join a forward-thinking team with the potential for extension or conversion to a full-time position.
What You’ll Be Doing:
- Act as the liaison between Sales and Production, aligning daily/weekly production plans with incoming sales orders.
- Collaborate with the materials team to confirm parts and supplies are available to complete scheduled builds.
- Partner with production supervisors to prioritize work based on material availability and customer demand.
- Use ERP systems for production planning—SAP experience is a plus as they are currently transitioning.
- Support planning meetings and communicate production capabilities and constraints to internal stakeholders.
- Drive execution and problem-solve in a regulated manufacturing environment where quality and compliance are key.
What Your Work Experience Includes:
- Bachelor’s degree required, or Associate degree with several years of production planning experience.
- APICS certifications or equivalent supply chain/production planning experience highly preferred.
- Strong understanding of factory workflows, supply chain coordination, and scheduling strategies.
- Experience in regulated industries like medical devices or aerospace is highly desirable.
- Confident communication skills to bridge gaps between departments and keep timelines on track.
Here's the Important Details
- 100% onsite in Redmond, WA. Some flexibility to work remotely one day per week (e.g., Fridays), but onsite presence is strongly preferred for collaboration with the production team.
- 6 months (maternity leave coverage), with potential for extension or full-time conversion.
- $37-$40 per hour
