Responsibilities & Duties:
-
Examine parts for damage or excessive wear
-
Evaluate and diagnose mechanical & electrical problems
-
Repair or replace damaged or worn heavy-duty parts
-
Welding and fabrication of repairs
-
Dismantle and reassemble heavy equipment using hoists and tools
-
Test equipment after repair or assembly to ensure proper performance
-
Perform preventative maintenance
-
Other duties as assigned
Skills & Qualifications:
-
High school diploma or GED – Required
-
2-5 years’ experience with heavy duty equipment repair – Preferred
-
Completion of a vocational or other post-secondary training program – Preferred
-
Trailer body and/or Welding and Fabrication experience – Preferred
-
Having your own hand tools is a plus, but not all required (larger equipment/tools will be supplied by Company).

Ability to operate heavy duty equipment

Time management skills
Physical Requirements:
-
Must be able to lift/carry up to 25lbs frequently
-
Must be able to lift/carry up to 75lbs occasionally
-
Must be able to lift/carry up to 100lbs infrequently
