What are the responsibilities and job description for the Warehouse Associate position at Pace Transportation Services?

Pace Transportation Services started more than 40 years ago with a single service truck providing high quality service and products to customers. Pace has now grown into a full line semi-trailer dealer that focuses on sales, service, parts, leasing, and graphics for the heavy-duty vehicle aftermarket. Pace is actively seeking hard-working and growth-oriented individuals who can help fulfill our customer needs.
Job Responsibilities:
- Pull and pack truck/trailer parts based on daily customer orders.
- Meet specifics of customer order in a timely manner with a high level of accuracy.
- Safely operate various pieces of equipment, such as a Forklift and Pallet Jack.
- Check for damaged items, and confirm correct items and quantities are selected for customer orders.
- Manage all aspects of deliveries, including pulling heavy-duty truck and trailer parts, scheduling daily deliveries, and picking up returns from customers, if needed.
- Maintain cleanliness within the warehouse facility.
- Comply with company safety policies and procedures.
- Other duties as assigned by management.
Required Qualifications:
- 2 years of Warehouse experience
- 2 years of experience with Warehouse equipment (Hi-Lo's, Forklifts, Pallet Jacks, etc.)
- Ability to obtain a Chauffeur’s License and DOT Medical Card if needed (company paid)
- Ability to pass a Motor Vehicle Report (MVR) if needed (company paid)
Physical Requirements
- Ability to lift/carry up to 50lbs frequently
- Ability to lift/carry up to 75lbs occasionally
- Ability to lift/carry up to 100lbs infrequently, during team lifts
