POSITION SUMMARY:
The QA Analyst will create, maintain and execute test cases based on evolving requirements for a variety of marketing-focused websites and applications. In addition to manual testing, this role will incorporate modern test automation frameworks—such as Playwright, Cypress, and Selenium—as well as ADA accessibility testing tools to ensure compliance with accessibility standards. Although the primary responsibilities center on website testing, there may also be a need to test other internally built or outsourced applications.

- North Carolina - Please note, employees living within 50 miles of Pace HQ will be expected to comply with our hybrid policy (In office on Tuesdays & Wednesdays). Employees living between 50-100 miles of Pace HQ are required to come into the office once a month.

- The salary for this position will range from $47,500-60,800 (64,125-82,080 for NYC and surrounding areas) depending on experience, education, geographical location, and other factors.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
- Participate in project scoping and requirements gathering
- Create high level estimates of test effort
- Create test scripts to determine proper functionality, including automated test scripts using Cypress, Selenium, and Playwright
- Run manual tests to determine the quality of new functionality and ensure complete regression testing of existing functionality
- Document software defects, using an issue tracking system, and report defects to software developers
- Work closely with software designers and account managers to understand what a product is meant to do, its key features, and its intended users
- Prepare and execute test plans, test cases, and use cases to ensure the product satisfies user needs
- Conduct software compatibility tests with programs, hardware (including mobile devices), operating systems, or network environments
- Conduct exploratory system testing
- Participate in product design reviews
- Incorporate ADA testing capabilities using industry-standard tools to verify accessibility compliance

JOB QUALIFICATIONS:
Education:
Bachelor’s degree in a technical field required
Experience:
3-5 years of experience in QA
Skills:
- Familiarity with testing frameworks like Playwright, Cypress, and Selenium and ability to write test scripts for both desktop and mobile platforms
- Experience with ADA standards and testing tools
- Good understanding of the software development process
- Ability to understand the business approach
- Strong attention to detail and a natural curiosity
- Ability to put yourself in a user or customer's position
- Ability to change quickly from one project to another
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to work under pressure and with tight deadlines
- Self-motivated and able to work independently or with a group
