Job Title: Certified Medical Assistant
Job Summary:
- We are seeking a Certified Medical Assistant (CMA) to join our healthcare team. This role involves direct patient care, including rooming patients, performing EKGs, and administering injections. The ideal candidate should have strong clinical skills, excellent patient interaction abilities, and EPIC experience (preferred).
Key Responsibilities:
- Room patients and prepare them for examinations.
- Perform EKGs and administer injections as needed.
- Maintain accurate patient records in EPIC (preferred).
- Assist healthcare providers with daily tasks to ensure efficient patient flow.
Requirements:
- Certified Medical Assistant (CMA) credentials required.
- EPIC experience preferred.
- Strong communication and organizational skills.
- Reliable transportation for commuting.
- Interview & Training Details:
- Interview Process:
- Round 1: Virtual interview via Microsoft Teams (on camera).
- Round 2: In-person practice visit.
- Training: 4-hour EMR training on Fridays.
- Additional Instructions:
- Candidates must submit a resume and submission cover form in one document.
- Any requested time off (RTO) must be listed on the submission form.
- Screening questions include:
- Is the candidate a former Penn Medicine employee? If so, provide work dates, position, and reason for leaving.
