Job Title : Human Resources Administrator III - US
Duration : 3 months
Location : Covington, VA 24426
Pay Rate : 22 / hr
Shift Timing : 8am / 5pm 1 hr lunch M-F On site
3 must-haves :
1. Office (Word / Excel)
2. Experience with PeopleSoft or a payroll system
3. Filing system or creating own filing system (digital and hard copy)
Day-to-day : Admin work with filing, personnel records, recruiting, TA, onboarding, Keep track of leave, disciplines. Help employees with benefits.
The opportunity :
Provide strong administrative support to the human resources team through accurate and timely responsiveness to employee requests and questions.
Supporting the human resources team requires diligent, accurate, and efficient work habits that ensure accuracy and timely processing of payroll, time & attendance, and data transactions.
The ability to remain flexible and focused on daily, weekly, and monthly tasks while being a resource to all employees

Focusing on executing current record keeping and reporting processes that will result in efficient and timely processing of human resource information and / or data.
Increasing employee engagement through successful navigation of employee questions, processing of information, and being solution focused

What you need to succeed :
High school diploma required; associate degree preferred
2 years of experience preferred, primarily focused on data transactions
Must be a self-starter, organized, situationally aware, and a proactive communicator
Experience with PeopleSoft and Workforce Software or other payroll software a plus
Experience and knowledge of basic pre-employment processes such as background checks, drug screens, and I-9s preferred
Proficient in Microsoft Office
