NCDIT - Data Analyst - Senior

• This is a hybrid position. The candidate will be expected to come onsite regularly for team events training etc. A majority of the work can be done remotely.
• The max rate for the position is XX70 / hour.

The position will be responsible for developing dashboards and reports for Statewide IT Procurement as well as operational areas within NCDIT.

The position will build relationships and work collaboratively with internal partners (senior management service owners PMO) as well as organizational stakeholders to identify relevant data set and structure data for analysis and develop solutions of interpretation (programmatically) that are beneficial through the analysis of data and lead in the improvement efficiency and effectiveness of services delivery.

The Application Systems Analyst I (Data Analyst) will develop and deliver visual dashboards reports and infographics that assist in understanding and the communication of operational performance data. The dashboards and reports shall be published for both internal DIT organizations as well as external stakeholders (Statewide IT Procurement state agency customers) when applicable. The position will design engaging and interactive business insight dashboards using Power BI or Tableau and possesses the knowledge and experience on data visualization best practices with a focus on enhancing interaction and experience.
