- WILL NEED TO WEAR A RESPIRATOR DAILY
Looking for candidates with machine operator experience.
Experience in running filling equipment assembling and disassembling machines for cleaning.
Responsibilities :
Responsible for moving required materials from defined storage or staging areas to workspace using material handling equipment including manual and motorized pallet jacks / walkies.
Packaging of final product into enduser containers per approved Standard Manufacturing Procedures (SMP) and Standard Operating Procedures (SOP). Keeps accurate logs (both written and on computer) following Good Documentation Practices (GDP).
Demonstrates the ability to follow established procedures according to Good Documentation Practices (GDP).
Demonstrates ability to setup operate and clean production equipment including weighing scales handfilling equipment Integrated Fill Lines (IFL) and Bagging equipment (SpeeDee & AllFills). Requires monitoring of critical meters gauges and displays for process parameters (ie. temperature humidity RPMs).
Maintains accurate production records which include operation / cleaning logs batch history records Label reconciliation work order information and other pertinent data.
Responsible for assuring final product is within final weight tolerance as specified per IMW A163.
Use independent judgment to plan perform make decisions troubleshoot and problem solve in areas on set up operations and processes.
Demonstrate the ability to maintain neat accurate and complete records and logs and use calibration equipment and machine operations.
Must follow all and DCM safety policies and procedures.
Must be able to work overtime as required to meet business requirements.
Performs other duties as DCM operations required.
Minimum Qualification
High school graduate or equivalent.
Minimum of three years of experience in a manufacturing packaging and / or warehouse environment.
Must be capable of performing heavy lifting / handling during a 10 hr. shift; 15 lb. 70% ; 525 lbs. 30%
Must be able to stand walk and climb stairs 50% to 95% of the workday.
Must be capable of passing the physical examination for forklift operations and respirator fit test.
Additional notes :
Dusty environment requiring routine use of N95 respirators.
Routine use of Safety glasses steeltoed shoes respirators and hearing protection may be required. Must be used if required.
Respirators and PAPR are required at times for specified products.
Repetitively heavy lifting / handling during a 8 hr shift; 15 lb. 70% ; 535 lbs 30%
Forklift Experience is very helpful
