Pipe Layer/Equipment Operator

Job Overview
We are seeking a skilled Equipment Operator that can operate a trackhoe and has pipe experience. The ideal candidate will have experience operating various types of heavy machinery and will be responsible for ensuring the safe and efficient operation of equipment on construction sites. This role requires a strong understanding of mechanical systems and the ability to work collaboratively with other team members to achieve project goals.

Duties

• Operate heavy equipment including backhoes, loaders, tankers, and cranes in a safe and efficient manner.
• Perform daily inspections and maintenance on equipment to ensure optimal performance.
• Transport materials using water trucks and front loader trucks as required on construction sites.
• Collaborate with site supervisors and other operators to coordinate tasks and ensure project timelines are met.
• Adhere to all safety protocols and regulations while operating machinery.
• Assist in the setup and teardown of job sites as necessary.
• Maintain accurate records of equipment usage and maintenance activities.

Requirements

• Proven experience in heavy equipment operation, particularly with water trucks, loaders, tankers, backhoes, and cranes.
• Valid commercial driver's license (CDL) preferred but not mandatory.
• Strong mechanical knowledge to troubleshoot minor issues with equipment.
• Ability to work effectively in a construction site environment, adhering to safety standards at all times.
• Excellent communication skills for effective collaboration with team members.
• Physical ability to operate machinery for extended periods and perform manual labor as needed.
• A commitment to continuous learning and improvement in equipment operation skills is highly valued.

• Monday to Friday
• Morning shift
