Responsibilities
- Prepare and assemble salads according to established recipes and presentation standards.
- Wash, chop, and slice vegetables and other ingredients with precision and care.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the salad prep area, including proper storage of ingredients.
- Follow food safety guidelines and proper food handling procedures to ensure the highest level of hygiene.
- Assist in inventory management by monitoring stock levels of ingredients and notifying supervisors when supplies are low.
- Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely preparation of salads for service during busy periods.
- Participate in regular cleaning duties to maintain a safe and sanitary kitchen environment.
Qualifications
- Previous experience in a restaurant, hotel, or food service environment is preferred.
- Familiarity with food handling practices and safety regulations is essential.
- Strong attention to detail with the ability to follow recipes accurately.
