Summary
We are seeking a Quality Assurance Inspector to join our team at Pacific Aero Tech, LLC. The inspector will perform preliminary, receiving, in-process, and return to service inspections of aircraft related components in accordance with Original Equipment Manufacturer (OEM) Component Maintenance Manuals (CMM’s), Service Bulletins (SB’s), Airworthiness Directives (SD’s), customer requirements, regulatory requirements, and Pacific Aero Tech internal FAA approved repair specifications. The inspector should show great attention to detail, possess strong organizational skills, and be able to demonstrate the ability to interpret approved data such as CMM’s, SB’s, and AD’s.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Perform preliminary, in-process, final and return to service inspections.
- Document inspection results by completing logs and reports.
- Perform incoming inspection of purchased parts and materials.
- Inspect aircraft components to verify correct finish, configuration or other measurable or observable characteristics.
- Perform and record first article inspections in accordance with AS9102.
- Assist with internal and service provider external audits.
- Follow company Quality Management System and guides associates to do the same.
- Document aircraft’s products’ non-conformities using proprietary systems as appropriate.
- Maintain a thorough familiarity with the content of the company repair station manual and all subsequent revisions.
QUALIFICATIONS:
- B.S. degree ,Airframe , Powerplant or equivalent work experience.
- 1-5 years’ experience with FAA 145
- High School Diploma or equivalent.
- Minimum of 6 months in repair operations.
- Knowledge of FAA/EASA regulatory requirements.
- Previously held or ability to acquire a Repairman’s Certificate under 14 CFR part 65.101.
- Experience using handheld measuring and testing devices e.g., digital multimeter, caliper, micrometers, radius gages, etc.
- Experience in issuing FAA form 8130-3s.
- Demonstrate the ability to use computer programs such as Microsoft office products.
- Must read, write, speak, and understand the English language.
PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS AND WORK ENVIRONMENT:
- This position requires work to be performed on-site in Kent, Washington.
- Must be able to sit, stand, and walk for extended periods.
- Must be able to lift up to 25 pounds occasionally.
- Ability to use a computer, communicate effectively in English, and interact with team members in both office and shop environments.
- Visual acuity required for reading technical drawings, operating engineering tools, and conducting inspections.
