POSITION SUMMARY:
The Office shipping and receiving coordinator position is responsible for the coordination of all departments to improve our shipping and receiving. Responsible for activities across all three shifts, the day-to-day functions of inbound and outbound. Working closely with supply chain, logistics and warehouse crew to meet ship out times and accurate receiving. Specific duties include reviewing records, managing schedules, reviews, performance evaluation plans, billing and quality assurance checks for all charges. The position also provides troubleshooting for billing errors and training to new billing team members.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS/ RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Supervises the day-to-day functions of incoming inventory and outgoing orders. Which consists of reviewing shipping and receiving documents, working directly with buyer assistants and warehouse shipping and receiving crew to receive and/ or ship out accurately.
- Monitors and completes special requests from sales/ buyers/ supply chain.
- Performs coding and billing accuracy reviews.
- Identifies and prevents errors, procedural weaknesses.
- Provides technical support and training to new and existing team members. Interdepartmental collaboration of best practices to optimize the team.
- Fulfill Key account customers.
- Creates shipping and receiving schedule, accommodate holidays.
- Performs other duties as assigned
Qualifications
REQUIRED MINIMUM EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE:
- Bachelor's degree in business, Shipping and receiving, or related degree.
- 2 years’ work experience
- Proficiency in oral and written communication.
Salary : $65,000 - $75,000
