Job Title: Vice President of Finance
Compensation range: $200k-250k bonus
Job Summary:
The Vice President of Finance will provide strategic financial leadership and direction to the company. This role involves overseeing all financial activities, ensuring the company’s financial health, and supporting its growth and profitability through effective financial planning and management. This role is critical for ensuring the financial stability and growth of the company, while also supporting its operational efficiency and strategic initiatives.
Key Responsibilities:
- Strategic Planning: Develop and implement financial strategies to support the company’s long-term goals and objectives1.
- Financial Reporting: Oversee the preparation and presentation of accurate and timely financial statements, including balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow statements2.
- Budgeting and Forecasting: Lead the budgeting process, including the preparation of annual budgets, forecasts, and financial models1.
- Risk Management: Identify and manage financial risks, including currency, interest rate, and credit risks2.
- Cost Control: Implement cost control measures and monitor financial performance to ensure profitability1.
- Compliance: Ensure compliance with all financial regulations and accounting standards (GAAP, IFRS)2.
- Investment Management: Oversee investment activities and manage the company’s investment portfolio1.
- Team Leadership: Lead and develop the finance team, providing guidance and support to ensure high performance2.
- Stakeholder Communication: Communicate financial performance and strategy to the executive team, board of directors, and external stakeholders1.
Qualifications
Qualifications:
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field; a Master’s degree or MBA is preferred2.
- Certification: Certified Public Accountant (CPA) or Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA) designation is highly desirable1.
- Experience: Minimum of 10 years of experience in finance, with at least 5 years in a senior leadership role, preferably in the food manufacturing or distribution industry2.
- Skills: Strong analytical and strategic thinking skills, excellent leadership and communication abilities, and proficiency in financial software and ERP systems1.
