Warehouse Supervisor
Compensation: $70-$80k/year
POSITION SUMMARY:
In this key role, you will be exposed to, and play a key role in, all facets of Distribution. The Warehouse Supervisor is responsible for improving the overall safety of the facility, receiving, stocking, inventory control, and fulfillment functions, while insuring cost effectiveness, operating efficiency, and regulatory compliance. In addition, you will be responsible for identifying, developing, and assisting in implementation of cost savings opportunities/initiatives, and maintaining high service and response levels.
Schedule:
Tuesday-Saturday 6am-2:30pm

Coordinate & plan all activities in the distribution center

Assist in managing performance to meet Safety, Quality, Delivery, Cost, and Innovation goals

Responsible for shifting accurate receiving, stocking, and putting away in final location by following established standard operating procedures

Work with inventory control team to ensure accurate inventory transactions

Monitor shipping schedule activity to proactively adjust the dock schedule when needed

Assists in the creation, maintenance, and facilitation of standard operating procedures and provides documentation for the standard processes.

Ensure tasks are performed according to standard operating procedures and regulations

Assist in investigating and resolving distribution center issues as they arise

Ensure all warehouse transactions are properly recorded

Drive consistency and cost reduction through the creation and implementation of continuous improvement to work standard

Track carrier performance and adherence to service levels

Ensure compliance with all company policies, rules and procedures including good housekeeping, monthly safety meetings, safety rules, and incident reporting and investigation.

Interact with various personnel including safety, sales, supply chain, customer service and logistics
Qualifications
REQUIRED MINIMUM EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE:

Must thrive in a high-paced, multiple-task-completion environment.

Experience with perishable food, warehouse management, MHE training, 5s, safety implementation, and inventory control skills are required.

Minimum 5 years supervisory experience.

Bilingual in English & Spanish preferred.

Proficiency in MS Office (Word, Excel, Outlook Teams) and logistics software (preferred).
Salary : $70,000 - $80,000
