What would you be doing?
The Stain Mixing Specialist is responsible for accurately mixing stains or coatings to create the appropriate color and consistency for each specific job. The stain mixer needs to have knowledge of color theory and be able to determine the correct mixing ratios for each job.
Duties / Responsibilities :
Mix stains to match customer provided samples.Spray samples and maintain sample library and mixing formulas.Dispose of trash or waste materials.Operate painting or coating equipment.Clean production equipment.Clean work areas.Load materials into production equipment.Monitor equipment operation to ensure that products are not flawed.Feed materials or products into or through equipment.Measure ingredients or substances to be used in production processes.Inspect finishes of workpieces or finished products.Remove Products or workpieces from production equipment.Adjust equipment controls to regulate flow of production materials or products.Adjust temperature controls of ovens or other heating equipment.Connect supply lines to production equipment or tools.Operate hoists, or other moving or lifting equipment.Monitor equipment operation to ensure proper functioning.Prepare surfaces for finishing.Mix ingredients to create specific finishes.Support other rolls in pre-finish department as neededOther duties as assigned.Requirements :

High school diploma or equivalent required.At least five (5) years of related experience preferred.Physical Requirements :
Must be able to stand for long periods of time, bend, climb, stretch, reach, and learn to perform tasks at all machines.Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds repetitively.Work Style :
