We are looking for a detail-oriented, organized, and professional Diesel Shop Receptionist to join our team. As the first point of contact for customers, you will be responsible for creating a welcoming and efficient atmosphere at the front desk. Your role will involve handling customer inquiries, managing appointments, ordering parts, creating estimates/invoices, processing payments, and coordinating with technicians to ensure timely service delivery.
Key Responsibilities:
- Greet customers and provide information on services offered.
- Answer phone calls and schedule appointments for repairs and maintenance.
- Process customer orders, invoices, and payments.
- Maintain an organized and clean reception area.
- Assist in managing customer records and files.
- Coordinate with mechanics and technicians to ensure timely completion of work.
- Handle customer concerns and escalate issues when necessary.
- Monitor the shop’s parts inventory and place orders when needed.
- Ensure that all customer communications are professional and helpful.
Requirements:
- Previous experience in a receptionist or customer service role, preferably in the automotive or diesel repair industry.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Proficiency in computer programs such as Quickbooks
- Ability to multitask and manage time effectively.
- Positive, customer-focused attitude.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience in the diesel or automotive repair industry is a plus but will train.
- Bilingual (English/Spanish) is a plus.
