Job Title: Inside Sales and Service Representative

Primary Purpose
The Inside Sales and Service (I.S.S.) Representative plays a vital role in generating new business, supporting existing Pre-Engineered Metal Building projects, and ensuring exceptional post-delivery customer service. This position is responsible for timely communication and qualification of all reactive leads, defining customer design intent, and assisting in the conversion of inquiries into actionable opportunities. The I.S.S. Representative will professionally represent the performance, service, and sales functions of all Pacific Building Systems' products and services. Success in this role includes meeting mutually established sales goals, growing current accounts, identifying new opportunities, and accurately documenting communication within the CRM (Customer Relationship Management) system.
Qualifications and Skills
- Experience in construction or related fields (minimum 2 years preferred).
- Proficiency with computers and various software applications.
- Excellent communication, listening, and organizational skills.
- Ability to work collaboratively and achieve results in a team environment.
Responsibilities and Duties
- Represent PBS by managing existing accounts and actively pursuing new customers.
- Respond promptly to phone calls and reactive leads—including those from marketing efforts and website inquiries—ensuring professional and timely follow-up.
- Define customer design intent through communication and documentation; support the Relationship Sales Manager in achieving business development goals.
- Maintain and submit CRM records covering personal and team sales, marketing activity, prospecting, account growth, and customer engagement.
- Consistently perform Leading Indicators such as calls and emails to drive Lagging Indicators such as buildings sold and revenue.
- Provide high-quality post-sale customer service, ensuring product satisfaction and delivery success.
- Investigate and resolve customer complaints; propose effective solutions and submit reports to management.
- Assist with quote requests, project take-offs, and processing project drawings as needed.
Benefits

Annual Compensation: $50,000.00 to $60,000.00 plus quarterly bonus based on performance.
