What are the responsibilities and job description for the Purchasing Agent/Inventory Control position at PACIFIC CA SYSTEMS?
We are seeking a skilled purchasing agent to join our team in the local trucking and agricultural equipment manufacturing industry. This role involves ordering and receiving goods, as well as maintaining direct communication with vendors. Some local driving may be necessary to pick up parts, so a clean motor vehicle record is essential.
The position is primarily clerical, requiring proficiency in QuickBooks to create purchase orders and convert them into item receipts. Regular tasks will include inventory control, typing, following up on orders, retrieving parts, preparing jobs, and updating build sheets with parts and pricing information. We are looking for a detail-oriented individual who can effectively multitask.
