What are the responsibilities and job description for the Production Clerk position at Pacific Choice Brands?
The production clerk manages coordinates the flow of materials and work within a manufacturing facility. They also ensure that orders are processed accurately and that production activities are scheduled and completed on time. .
Key Responsibilities:
- Maintains inventories of materials and supplies necessary to meet production demands
- Record data such as volume, consumption of raw materials…and maintenance of NetSuite ERP system
- Works with Production Planning to verify shipment details, production commitments and timelines
- Provides support with PO entry and recurring transactions
- Provides administrative support to the Plant Manager including correspondence, reports, line schedules…
Education and Experience:
- Two-year degree preferred
- 3 years in manufacturing plant experience
- 5 years production/manufacturing experience
- Office administration experience
- Strong knowledge of all food safety related programs (HACCP, FSP, GMP, Allergens, SOPs, Pre-Op, prerequisite programs)
Qualifications:
- Strong knowledge of production Key Performance Indicators (KPIs)
- Strong computer skills
- Ability to communicate professionally with representatives from other departments
- Attention to detail and organizational skills
- Time management skills
- Teamwork oriented
- Adapt schedule flexibly in response to changing customer demands and material availability.
- Resolve problems promptly, professionally, and accurately.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $19.00 - $24.50 per hour
Expected hours: 40 per week
