Compensation We Offer
- The initial compensation for this position ranges from $73,382.40 to $90,251.10 per year.
- Salary is dependent on commensurate experience above the minimum qualifications for the role and internal equity considerations.
- The salary may also vary if you reside in a different location than the location posted.
- 8% License Differential for LMFT, LCSW, LPCC, PsyD. and select Peer Certifications.*
- 7.5% Bilingual Differential for qualified positions

Who We Serve
Pacific Clinics serves children, transitional age youth, families, adults, and older adults. JOB SUMMARY
Works within the values and clinical philosophy of the agency, and under the general supervision provides comprehensive assessments, treatment planning, risk assessment, clinical interventions, case management, coordination of therapeutic activities and educational programs. Leads and facilitates cross-functional teams, facilitates group supervision and supports other social workers. Responsible for the completion and maintenance of clinical and administrative documentation. Assists with the implementation of Evidence Based Practices (EBPs) across the program. Participates in agency work groups in support of annual priorities and Continuous Quality Improvement (CQI) activities.
RESPONSIBILITIES AND DUTIES
1. Applies advanced use of assessment information in development of the treatment plan and applies information and resources to ensure quality care.
2. Applies advanced skill in acquisition and application of clinically related information to effectively intervene with children and families.
3. Understands and applies multi-modal approaches and perspectives to therapeutic direction.
4. Provides coaching and mentoring of others in the implementation of EBPs.
5. Leads problem solving interaction and work with external customers.
6. Maintains audit ready charts and audits charts independently
7. Provides observations and feedback to supervisor in order to monitor and/or modify programs or approaches.
8. Actively participates in the identification of team opportunities for improvement or identification of deficiencies and in the development of strategies to address or bridge gaps.
9. Leads Quality Improvement (CQI) activities and project implementation.
10. Performs other related responsibilities, as assigned, to support specific department/business needs.

QUALIFICATIONS

The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill, and/or ability required. MINIMUM EDUCATION AND/OR EXPERIENCE
• Master of Arts (M.A.) degree in Social Work or a closely related field (e.g., Marriage, Child and Family Counseling or Psychology).
• Three (3) years of supervised clinical experience with children.
• California licensure as LCSW, LMFT, Ph.D. preferred.
• BBS registration required
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
• Four (4) to five (5) years of clinical experience with children.
• Experience with Wraparound plans and development of ICFPs.
• Crisis management experience preferred.
• Training in domestic violence, physical/sexual child abuse, and suicidal trauma with the competency to maintain current knowledge related to state, county, and local law.
• Self-defense training to react/respond to harmful and violent physical situations.
• Knowledge of local county rules and regulations from the Department of Social Services or related division.
HIGHLY DESIRABLE SKILLS
• Experience, knowledge, skills, and abilities with culturally diverse populations.
• Speak, read, and/or write another language.
OTHER SPECIFIC REQUIREMENTS
- Strong leadership and crisis management skills.
- If program requires, employee must pass an initial physical abilities test (PATS) and be certified in crisis intervention techniques within the first 30 days and annually.
- Must pass Department of Justice (DOJ), Federal Bureau of Investigations (FBI), and Child Abuse Index Check (CAIC) background clearance.
- Must possess a valid CA driver's license and insurance with two years experience and maintain an insurable driving record under the agency’s liability policy.
