Dispatcher I/Customer Service Rep - $20.00-$21.50 per hour DOE.

What This Role Looks Like

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: include the following. Other duties may be assigned. Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the essential functions.

• Oversees transportation, takes orders and directs drivers.
• Matches and checks pick-ups and deliveries.
• Answers telephone and responds to customer inquiries in a courteous manner.
• Checks inventory and participates in semi-annual inventory count, two Saturdays a year.
• Maintains drivers' files.
• Processes cash sales and issues credits.
• Attends safety meetings and abides by all safety rules set forth by the company and governmental regulatory agencies; ensures that hazardous conditions are reported and corrected
• All other duties and responsibilities assigned from time to time by the company or its designated representative.
• Predictable and Regular attendance is required.
  
  

QUALIFICATIONS To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill, and/or ability required.

• High school education or equivalent.
• On-the-job training experience is required to be able to perform duties.
• Requires working knowledge of trucking, transportation and customer service.
• Requires good reading, writing and mathematical skills and communication skills.
• Ability to operate 10-key adding machine, copier, scanner, and any other office equipment required to perform duties.
• Must have a valid driver's license
• Predictable and Regular attendance is required.
• Bilingual in Spanish, preferred but not required.
• Open shift availability required
