H.C. Muddox also offers custom shapes, sizes and colors in a range of products.

WHAT THIS ROLE LOOKS LIKE: Under the supervision of the Superintendent and Brick Production Lead, this position supports the Brick Manufacturing Department in all areas of production and is responsible for supporting and demonstrating the Core Values of Integrity, Safety, Respect, Customer Focus, Quality, Innovation and Financial Success. Performs other related duties as assigned.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: include the following. Other duties may be assigned. Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the essential functions.
- Sets green brick and flue lining in the manner specified.
- Unloads fired brick and flue lining from kiln car.
- Examines brick for imperfections such as cracks, chips and color.
- Manually places brick that passes inspection on conveyer belt.
- Maintains work area per company specifications for cleanliness and safety.
- Attends safety meetings and abides by all safety rules set forth by company and governmental regulatory agencies; ensures that hazardous conditions are reported and corrected.
- Predictable and Regular attendance is required.
QUALIFICATIONS To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill, and/or ability required.
- High School diploma or equivalent, prior labor experience in manufacturing environment a plus.
- Ability to read and comprehend simple instructions.
- Basic reading and math skills.
- Ability to communicate with peers, customers and supervisors.
- Requires on the job training to perform essential duties assigned.
- Ability to operate a forklift is preferred but not required.
- Predictable and Regular attendance is required.
