The processing operator position has a very real impact on the success of our company’s ability to meet our customer’s expectations. WHAT THIS ROLE LOOKS LIKE:
Under the supervision of the Plant Supervisor, this position supports plant operations in all areas of production. This position is responsible for processing and packaging manufactured concrete products and is responsible for supporting and demonstrating the Core Values of Integrity, Safety, Respect, Customer Focus, Quality, Innovation and Financial Success.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: include the following. Other duties may be assigned.
- Operates Splitting equipment and verifies that the machines are running properly and safely.
- Operates Cubing and packaging machines and verifies that equipment is running properly and safely.
- Checks product quality and discards sub-standard product.
- Properly marks and packages cubes of finish product.
- Must be proficient at operating forklifts available in the production environments.
- Assists machine operators as needed.
- Performs daily cleaning procedures on production equipment.
- Maintains work area clean and clutter free per company standards
- Ability to follow oral and written instructions.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced work environment.
- Predictable, and Regular attendance is required.
