H.C. Muddox also offers custom shapes, sizes and colors in a range of products.

WHAT THIS ROLE LOOKS LIKE: Under the supervision of the Superintendent and Think brick Lead, this position supports the thin-brick production department in all areas of thin-brick grading, packaging and palletizing of product and is responsible for supporting and demonstrating the Core Values of Integrity, Safety, Respect, Customer Focus, Quality, Innovation and Financial Success. Performs other related duties as assigned.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: include the following. Other duties may be assigned. Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the essential functions.
- Set up: preparing tables, necessary equipment, (tape, tape guns, boxes, box inserts, EZ lifts), product to be graded, establish product flow, to perform the required task.
- Chipping, break-away processing, grading and boxing thin-brick and thin-brick corners of various colors, sizes (dimensions) and textures per quality control and supervisor instruction(s).
- Abide by all safety rules and requirements set forth by the company and/or applicable government regulatory agencies.
- Maintain a clean, safe and orderly work area.
- Be aware of forklifts operating in and around the work areas as they transport pallets of material to and from the building.
- All other duties (including tumbling and special brick/block processing) as assigned by management.
- Report all hazards, near-misses, safety concerns and injuries to your supervisor.
- Attends safety meetings and abides by all safety rules set forth by company and governmental regulatory agencies; ensures that hazardous conditions are reported and corrected.
- Predictable and Regular attendance is required.
QUALIFICATIONS To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill, and/or ability required.
- On-the-job training is required to perform the essential duties as listed above.
- Ability to understand and follow simple instructions as directed by the department supervisor.
- Ability to communicate with peers and supervisor effectively and respectfully
- Ability to read a tape measure or other measuring device established to aid in the development of a desired, consistent dimension.
- Predictable and Regular attendance is required.
PHYSICAL DEMANDS The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job.
- Able to stand and work for up to eight (8) hours per day.
- Able to lift up-to 20 lbs. (finished/boxed product) periodically throughout the shift.
- Repetitive hand and arm motion while chipping, grading and boxing product.
- Some twisting, turning and bending in the course of performing duties.
