Job Summary: The Packing Department Associate is responsible for efficiently and accurately packing products for shipment. Key Responsibilities:
- Pack products according to company standards and customer specifications.
- Ensure that all packed items are labeled correctly and include necessary documentation.
- Inspect products for defects and report any issues to the supervisor.
- Maintain a clean and organized packing area.
- Assist with inventory management by keeping accurate records of packed items.
- Operate packing equipment safely and efficiently.
- Collaborate with the shipping department to ensure timely and accurate shipments.
- Follow all safety regulations and company policies.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Previous experience in a packing or warehouse role preferred.
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Good communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to lift and move heavy objects (up to 50 lbs.).
