Pacific Coast Fresh Company is a local, family-owned produce distributor that has proudly served our Pacific Northwest retail, wholesale and food service customers since 1977. We are now one of the largest independent produce distributors in the Northwest with distribution centers in Portland, Oregon and Seattle (Kent), Washington.

In this position, you will use your expertise to install, configure, service, repair and maintain information technology systems. You will work directly with our internal customers, building rapport while explaining complex technical concepts in simple, non-technical terms. You will also participate in technical research and development to enable continuing innovation within the organization and ensure that system hardware, operating systems, and software systems are fully operational.
What you'll do...
- Interact with customer and vendors to diagnose and resolve technical issues in person and via phone, email, and remote assistance tools
- Setup, install, configure, and support software applications, desktop and laptop computers, printers, and mobile devices
- Install and configure wireless networking equipment
- Setup and manage wireless warehouse devices
- Create and update support tickets for customer issues
- Estimate requirements and level of effort for IS projects
What we look for...
- College degree in Information Technology or related field preferred
- 2 years’ experience in information technology
- Ability to fill multiple roles simultaneously
- Excellent communication, organization, and time management skills
- Knowledge of current hardware technology and concepts
- Ability to make sound, independent judgement calls when resolving customer issues
- Experience with WMS devices highly preferred
- Experience with Mobile Device Management software and Zebra printers a plus
