Key Responsibilities
Scheduling & Resource Coordination
- Develop and maintain daily and long-term schedules dynamic scheduling for field personnel, equipment, and materials across various jobs, optimizing for efficiency, cost-effectiveness, and productivity.
- Ensure that crew members are properly equipped, trained, and clear on their responsibilities before being dispatched daily.
- Develop a deep understanding of job scopes and project requirements to assess how resource allocation impacts job timelines and overall execution.
Centralized Communication and Conflict Resolution
Act as the primary communication hub, ensuring seamless coordination and job execution among all stakeholders regarding schedules, updates, and shifting priorities.Serve as the key liaison for field supervisors, project managers, clients, and resource teams to facilitate efficient resource allocation and job execution.Collaborate closely with field teams, project managers, and clients to optimize job scheduling, proactively identify risks, resolve conflicts, and ensure timely completion of tasks.Process Improvement & Technology Integration
Leverage software tools (dispatching platforms, GPS tracking, ERP systems) to streamline scheduling, resource management, and real-time job monitoring.Continuously evaluate and challenge existing dispatching processes, recommending improved solutions to drive operational excellence.Analyze and track key performance metrics, ensuring compliance with safety, regulatory, and operational standards, and drive solutions to improve performance.Managing Operational Compliance
Work with the safety manager and project manager to ensure that all work is performed in compliance with safety regulations, company policies, and industry standards.Help and enforce safety protocols for crew members, ensuring that necessary PPE is used, and safety guidelines are followed.Track crew work hours and attendance, ensuring accurate payroll and compliance with labor regulationsQualifications
A bachelor's degree in business administration, operations management, or a STEM field (preferred)3 years of experience in logistics coordination, dispatching, or operations (preferred).Strong problem-solving and critical thinking skills; ability to make real-time decisions while managing multiple moving parts.Ability to prioritize competing demands and operate efficiently under pressure.Highly organized and process oriented with a strong knowledge of operational efficiency and execution.Excellent organizational, multitasking, and time management skills.Strong communication and interpersonal skills.Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Outlook, Excel, Word, SharePoint) and quickly learning new software such as ERPs and dispatch systems.Experience working in environmental services, construction, or field-based operations (preferred)Why Join Us?
