- DecemberReason for coverage : We have 3.0 FTE openings for over 400 days with no offers extended.
One general cardiology locum is working part time, but this has not proven to add adequate support to mitigate increased physician burn out.
We are in dire need of an additional Locum to provide additional support for our second largest location in the system.
This locum will provide cardiology hospital support so that the physicians can spend their usual time in the office seeing patients and new patient consults and decrease the backlog of care needed.Schedule : full time : M-F, 8a-5p, rotating callShift : 8a-5pCall : 1 : 4 weekday / weekendPatient volume : 30-40 daily census (split with another provider, typically 15-20 per provider), 5-10 admissions / consultsScope : 100% adult inpatient noninvasive testing reader (treadmills, echos, nuclear studies), rounding in hospital on Cardiology service.
TEE skills welcomedEMR : EPICHospitals / 3 different sites : Majority of their time will be spent in a (104 bed, level 4) but will need to get credentialed at these other two locations which are (360 beds, level 3) and (108 bed level 4) Group / support : APP in house all day, noninvasive and interventional support all day Requirements (boards, license) : GA or IMLC licensed, Board Certified, Clean BackgroundRates : TBD / Negotiable Travel and Malpractice CoveredJeff RankinRecruiterPacific
