Job Opportunity:
We are seeking a skilled OB/Gyn provider to fill a temporary coverage position at our clinic. This is a short-term opportunity that will last between 3 to 6 months.
Scope of Work:
The selected candidate will be responsible for providing outpatient OB/Gyn services, including routine check-ups and consultations. They will work closely with a medical assistant to ensure the smooth operation of the clinic.
Requirements:
To be considered for this role, candidates must be board-certified in OB/Gyn and hold an active Illinois medical license or be eligible for licensure through the Interstate Medical Licensure Compact (IMLC).
Schedule and Call Responsibilities:
Providers will work a standard Monday-to-Friday schedule from 8:30 am to 5:00 pm, with premium pay for extended hours as needed. On-call responsibilities will be shared among all providers, ensuring seamless patient care outside of regular working hours.
Patient Volume and Experience:
On average, each provider can expect to see around 12-15 patients per 4-hour block, translating to 24-30 patients per 8-hour shift. This is a fast-paced environment that requires excellent communication and organizational skills.
