What are the responsibilities and job description for the Obstetrics & Gynecology Physician position at Pacific Companies?
Job Title: Full Scope OBGYN Clinic and Call - Oregon
- Location:
- Dates: April to December
- Shifts: 1-2 weeks per month
- Schedule: Clinic hours are Monday through Friday from 8:45 a.m. to 5 p.m.
- Call Schedule: Up to 10 shifts per month with 24-hour call coverage from 7 a.m. to 7 a.m.

Clinic Responsibilities
As a full scope OBGYN, you will provide inpatient and outpatient care, including:
- OB Care
- GYN Consults
- IUD and Nexplanon placements/removals
- Colposcopies
- LEEP's
- EMB's
- Vulvar Biopsies
Surgical Responsibilities
You will perform the following surgical procedures:
- D&C
- Hysterectomies
- C-Sections
- Salpingectomy
- Hysteroscopy
- OB Versions
Patient Volume and Transfer Policy
The clinic averages 8-15 patients per day and 15-25 deliveries per month. We have a transfer policy in place for high-risk patients, including no VBACs, no robot-assisted surgeries, and no deliveries before 35 weeks.
Support and Resources
You will be part of a supportive team with 24-hour PED call coverage, CRNAs, and assistance from OBGYN and General Surgeons for surgeries. Additionally, we have a backup OB/GYN on call for deliveries.
Requirements
To be considered for this position, you must have:
- Board Certification/Board Eligibility
- Oregon Medical License/DEA Certification

We use Cerner EMR and are affiliated with a Critical Access hospital with 25 beds, Level IV Trauma designation, and Level I Nursery.
