OBGYN Opportunity in Eastern Kentucky
- Location: Eastern Kentucky
- Duration: Ongoing
- Schedule: Full-time (Part-time considered)
- Shifts: Clinic 8a-4:30p 24-hour call 7a-7a
- Call: Call taken from hotel, 30-minute response time. 13-15 shifts available for 24-hour call per month plus night call shifts.
- Scope: Full-scope OBGYN, OB call coverage, emergency GYN, clinic call is preferred but clinic is optional.
- Patient volume: 12-15 patients per day in clinic, Low delivery volume.
- EMR: Meditech
- Hospital: 150-bed acute care hospital
- Group/support: 1 OBGYN, 1 FM OB
- Requirements: Board certified or board eligible if recently trained, Active KY license or Active Compact/IMLC License
Job Details
We are seeking a skilled Obstetrics and Gynecology physician to join our team at a 150-bed acute care hospital in Eastern Kentucky. The ideal candidate will have excellent clinical skills, strong communication abilities, and a passion for providing high-quality patient care.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide full-scope OBGYN services, including OB call coverage and emergency GYN care.
- Work in the clinic setting, seeing 12-15 patients per day, with low delivery volume.
- Participate in 24-hour call rotation, responding to calls within 30 minutes.
