Location: Tell City, IN
Duration: March 28 - April 10
Reason for coverage: Employee vacation.
Schedule: Work two weeks per month.
Shift: Seven a.m. to seven a.m., with a 24-hour call taken from a hotel room.
Patient volume: Approximately 70-80 deliveries per year.
Scope of work includes 24-hour emergency department coverage for unassigned and group patients, as well as emergency gynecology cases.
Electronic Medical Record system: Athena.
Hospital type: Critical Access hospital.
Available support staff include OB nurses, registered nurses, emergency department staff, internal medicine/family practice physicians, lab technicians, radiologists, and a surgical team that includes certified registered nurse anesthetists.
Requirements: Board-certified obstetrician-gynecologist trained in Indiana with a valid Indiana medical license.
