Job Details
- 8 years of hands-on experience in Ab Initio ETL development.
- Strong expertise in Ab Initio GDE, Conduct>It, Express>It, MetaData Hub, and BRE (Business Rules Environment).
- Proficiency in SQL and database technologies (Oracle, Teradata, SQL Server, or PostgreSQL).
- Experience in Unix/Linux shell scripting.
- Knowledge of data modeling, data warehousing concepts, and performance tuning.
- Exposure to cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud Platform) and Big Data technologies (Hadoop, Spark) is a plus.
- Experience with data governance, data lineage, and metadata management.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to troubleshoot complex data integration issues.
- Excellent communication skills and ability to work in agile development environments.
Preferred Skills:
- Experience with Ab Initio Control Center (AICC) for job monitoring.
- Familiarity with Kafka, Snowflake, or Databricks is an advantage.
- Knowledge of DevOps practices (CI/CD, Git, Jenkins, etc.).
