Pacific Crest Federal Credit Union (Pacific Crest) is a rapidly growing not-for-profit financial cooperative headquartered in Klamath Falls, Oregon. We are currently building, growing, and developing our Business Services Team. We are hiring for a COMMERCIAL LOAN ASSISTANT in Klamath Falls, Oregon.
Work with the Business Services Team which provides capital to local businesses who provide services to and employ members of our communities. The Commercial Loan Assistant uses their organizational and decision-making skills to prioritize and complete tasks on business loans to ensure the development, maintenance, and deepening relationships with business members. The Commercial Loan Assistant will play a key role in advancing the Credit Union’s mission to provide our members and communities with the opportunity to prosper.

Essential Job Functions
- Collects, organizes, and retains commercial lending related documents
- Orders and obtains documentation needed for the commercial loan underwriting, which can include individual credit reports, UCC searches, and Business Registry Search
- Assembles and maintains loan files
- Assists with perfecting collateral for commercial loans
- Inputs new loans and modifications into core system
- Assists with monetary transactions for the Business Services Department as needed
- Opens Business Membership Accounts for new loans
- Assists in responding to incoming communications across a variety of channels
- Invests time and effort into personal development; learning and maintaining a current working knowledge that the team can depend on and furthers the efforts of the team to ensure a Crest experience for members, and the fulfillment of Pacific Crest’s mission.
Qualifications
TRAINING AND EXPERIENCE:
- High School diploma or the equivalent
- Experience in a financial institution preferred
KNOWLEDGE AND ABILITIES:
- Strong analytical, decision making
,and - Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Excellent technical skills
- Self-motivated to learn and grow within the position
- Proven organization, prioritization, and accuracy in work
SPECIAL FACTORS AND PHYSICAL DEMANDS:
- Requires being under constant pressure for absolute accuracy within time limitations
- Requires working with disgruntled members and frequent interruptions
- Ability to lift and/or carry up to 30 pounds
- Stooping; kneeling; crouching; and reaching below, at, and over shoulder level required
- Sitting – 80%; standing and walking - 20%
- Hearing, visual, and verbal ability required
