Pacific Cycle is seeking an Inventory Forecasting Analyst! As a part of the supply planning and operations team, this role will utilize strong analytical skills to forecast incoming product inventory requirements in line with Schwinn and Mongoose product strategies. A key player in all aspects of inventory management, you will examine data across forecasting models, consumption patterns, and seasonal variations within the assortment.

This role is based out of Madison, WI corporate office and is eligible to participate in the company's Hybrid work program; working in the office 3 days and eligible to work remotely 2 days.

Below you will find a few (but not all) of the main responsibilities:

  • Review inventory targets and evaluate performance against these targets, contributing to action plans that drive process success and sustainability.
  • Work alongside the Category Planning Manager to prioritize inventory allocation across retail accounts and distribution centers, ensuring customer orders are shipped accurately and on time.
  • Analyze data to minimize and track inventory aging, excess stock, and obsolescence.
  • Prepare detailed, regular inventory reports regarding stock levels, turnover rates, and order accuracy. Leverage data-driven insights to uncover trends, opportunities, and risks.
  • Create initial forecasts to ensure comprehensive item-level coverage for retailer accounts.
  • Collaborate with sales, marketing, and product teams to identify accurate inventory needs and develop effective replenishment strategies.

Education & Experience

  • Must be authorize to work in the United States
  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Supply Chain, Planning or related field or equivalent years of experience
  • 1-3 years of supply chain management or inventory management experience
  • Experience working with Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) Software (SAP, Power BI, SAS, etc.)
  • Strong cross-functional communication skills
  • Extensive experience and proficiency in BI & Excel tools and functionality
  • Creative problem solver with the ability to prioritize initiatives and anticipate business needs
